Potassium hydroxide also called Caustic potash, Lye, Potash lye, Potassia, Potassium hydrate, KOH.

KOH (potassium Hydroxide) has all characteristics as same as alkali, soluble in water , has a strong corrosive etc.

According to MAISHI’s experience, we recommend following material wire mesh to filter&sieving KOH (potassium Hydroxide)

1.silver wire mesh can used in temperature up to 700degree centigrade if there is no water and oxygen, normally it can be used in temperature under 400degree centigrade.

2.Pure nickel wire mesh is almost as same as silver wire mesh, it can used in temperature up to 600degree centigrade if there is no water and oxygen, normally it can be used in temperature under 400degree centigrade. But silver wire mesh’s using life is more than 5times than pure nickel wire mesh.

3.Gold wire mesh is not as good as silver wire mesh if there is no water and oxygen, but it will be have good ability when there is 6%water etc, it’s using life is more than 100times than silver wire mesh.

4.Other Nickel alloy wire mesh, such as SS304, SS316, Monel400, Inconel 600 and all other high nickel alloy. MAISHI can supply all type of Nickel alloy wire mesh. They are also have resistance to corrosion, but their using life is short then above items.

For normal production environment(there are water and oxygen etc.), using life as follows

Gold wire mesh greater than silver wire mesh, silver wire mesh greater than Pure nickel wire mesh,Pure nickel wire mesh greater than Other Nickel alloy wire mesh .
